AutumnWintercollection Crackle effect small trinket bowl
An interesting addition to the AutumnWinter collection. The delicate pink of the early flowering helleborus in my garden in late winter against the dark colour of the soil was the inspiration for this piece. This little crackle glace vessel would make a lovely trinket dish or as a decorative piece. The vessel is made from Bullseye clear sheet glass and powders in french vanilla, dense white and pink. The piece was created by using the crackle technique and has been fired twice in the kiln before being put back in the kiln for a third time to be dropped through a ceramic ring mould. The top was removed and the rim coldworked. The underside of the piece has a matt finish. The pictures display the natural tilt of the piece which reflects its handcrafted nature and individual response to the constituent glasses to the heat of the Kiln. Size: approx. 12.7cm dia. X 3.81cm H.
Shipping and returns.
If for some reason the piece is not quite what you wanted or you would like to change it, I accept returns within 30 days of original purchase. The piece must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You will need to arrange and pay for shipping. If you are shipping an item over £100, you should consider using a traceable shipping service insurance.
How to care for your glass.
Do not put art glass in a dishwasher. If you have purchased a functional piece, you can wash it under the tap with a mild detergent, rinse and dry it thoroughly. Decorative pieces can be cleaned with a soft cloth, glass cleaner or a damp cloth with mild detergent and rinsed and dried thoroughly.
Small bubbles in the piece
The small bubbles contained in the glass are part of the kiln formed glass process and are not faults.
